Hi I’m Jean Martin,

I love being a coach because I not only help clients visualise their futures, but I help them to discover, shape and seize opportunities to create the life they deserve FASTER!

In my 25 years in corporate I was tenacious in my pursuit of delivering high quality solutions & services and I dedicated myself to self-development & training. Prioritising and embracing opportunities to engage coaches and mentors whenever possible.

As a result, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most interesting and intelligent people at all levels and regularly invited to work with C level on a variety of issues across multiple industries and countries.

I’m passionate about understanding client’s drivers, motivations, and urgency, which enables me to build trust and establish rapport quickly. Key in delivering value in coaching.

I’m a pragmatic, straight talking coach and I pride myself on being authentic and getting results. I believe no two clients is the same, so my coaching and consulting is always tailored to fit you.

My Personal Story

I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, even at 8 years old I’d strategize business ideas and ways to make money with my friends for fun. Luckily, I was tenacious and smart enough to follow my heart and have the courage to seize opportunities.

Whilst studying a Master of Commerce at UNSW, I started working at Gartner and fell in love with business. Business opened up a whole new world of opportunities, and I loved the fast pace, variety of projects and world of travel. Working at Gartner transformed the rest of my career and life.

For the next 20 years I learned what was important in business and why from some of the most interesting, intelligent and high achieving professionals around the world. I learned how to use my experience and training with soft & technical skills, strategy, leadership, sales, marketing and business to understand a client’s personal and business- drivers, motivations, and urgency, which enables me to build trust and establish rapport quickly. Key in delivering value in coaching and consulting.

In 2016, I stepped off the corporate ladder to start my own entrepreneurial journey. It finally dawned on me “why was I working my arse off building and growing other people’s Professional Services organisations when I could be doing it for myself”

Fast forward to today, I run a successful coaching and consulting business, I get to do what I love, and spend quality time with my husband and son every single day. I’d be lying if I told you, it was like this from the beginning.

When I first started out, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, or how to go about it. I got myself so caught up in the day to day, spinning my wheels that I didn’t realise that I had ended up “buying a job” instead of “becoming an entrepreneur”. When I started focusing on my coaching things started to change and I slowly began to gain momentum.

Now, I’m regularly engaged to help high-achieving professionals and professional service businesses navigate the complexities of scaling up from 6 to 7 figures. I not only help my clients visualise their futures, but I help them reverse engineer the pathway to achieve it, step by step to entrepreneurial success.
